Four briefs, each written by the employer

We publish these the way they were handed to us. If a detail is missing from a brief it is because the employer left it open, not because we trimmed it.

About HyreCanopy

We publish the brief. The employer does the hiring.

HyreCanopy started because employers kept sending us the same question: where do we put a home-based opening so people in a country town actually see it? We take the brief, confirm it is genuine, and put it here. When you apply, your details go to that employer — nobody else.

The process

What happens between applying and your first block

You send the form

It asks for your name, the hours you can cover, and which of the four briefs interests you. Nothing else.

Our HR replies on WhatsApp

You get the employer brief in full, including the rate and what the first week looks like, before committing to anything.

Online training

Run by the employer, roughly two hours, with notes you keep. You do not touch live work until it is done.

You pick the first roster

Write down your blocks, the employer confirms them, and you can change them later through the same contact.

Applicant notes

Three people, three different reasons for applying

“I have a toddler, so anything with a fixed 9-to-5 was out. I put down two mornings and nobody has pushed me past that.”

Bree — Inverell

“What sold me was getting the whole brief on WhatsApp before I said yes. I could read it twice and think about it.”

Owen — Armidale

“I am studying part-time. The batches suit that far better than shifts I would have to swap with someone.”

Priya — Glen Innes

Apply

Send the form, then message our HR team

Both steps matter. Applications without a WhatsApp message sit in the queue because we have no way to send you the brief.

The form is not live yetWe are still waiting on the employer to switch their form on. Until then, message HR on WhatsApp and it will be sent to you directly.
Three easy steps: fill the form, send a WhatsApp message, receive the details

Questions

Asked before applying

If yours is not here, message the HR contact and ask before you send anything.

Is any experience required?

None of the four briefs ask for it. The employers screen on availability and on whether you can follow a written checklist, which is why the form asks about hours rather than about jobs you have held.

How many hours does this usually add up to?

Most people settle somewhere near twenty hours, split across blocks they chose. Some do two long evenings; others spread it thin across five days. Both are common and neither is treated as better.

Do I need a fast computer?

Not fast, just reliable. A laptop from the last few years handles all four roles. What causes trouble is a connection that drops mid-block, so if yours is patchy, mention it early rather than after training.

Is training paid?

That varies by employer and is stated in the brief you receive on WhatsApp. We do not average it out or guess at it here, because getting that wrong would matter to your first payslip.

Will I be charged anything?

No. There is no listing fee, no training fee and no deposit. If anyone claiming to be from HyreCanopy asks you for money, passwords or banking details, stop and tell us.

How soon can I start?

Usually within the week once training is booked. The slow part is almost always waiting for the applicant to reply on WhatsApp, not the employer.
