Privacy and your details

A short note on what happens to the details you send HyreCanopy, and what does not happen to them.

The details we ask for

When you apply, the form asks for your name, age, gender, nationality, country of residence, email address and WhatsApp number. The form is run by Waformly, a form service. After you submit, WhatsApp opens with a message to our HR team; nothing is sent until you tap send. If you message us on WhatsApp, we also see your WhatsApp name, number and the messages you send. Nothing on this site asks for a password or bank login.

Who sees them

Our HR team, and the employer for the role you are put forward for, after we tell you who they are. Your details are not sold and not put on a list for anything else.

Storage

Applications sit with us for twelve months and are then removed. If you want yours gone before that, one email does it.

Measurement

This site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM-P93WMJGZ) and Google Ads conversion tracking (AW-18296722364) to measure visits and whether an application was sent, which may set cookies. We do not use Google Ads remarketing or upload applicant lists to Google. Your name, number and form answers are not sent to Google. The site is hosted on Cloudflare; WhatsApp is run by Meta.

When we advertise on Facebook or Instagram, this site uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta, to measure visits that come from those ads. It records a page view on each page and, when the application form is submitted, a Lead event and a Purchase event (a fixed value of RM1, used only to measure advertising) that contain none of your form answers. The same events may also be sent to Meta from our own server (the Meta Conversions API) with your IP address, browser details and Meta cookie identifiers, so Meta can match them to the ad you clicked. You can change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
